Take your students beyond the classroom and into the deep blue with screenings from our Education Program on Thursday 19th October.
Sea of Life
Award-winning filmmaker Julia Barnes takes audiences on a provocative journey through the most stunning and threatened ecosystems on the planet, and the rallying movement to save them. With access to renowned environmental experts and breathtaking underwater cinematography, Sea of Life leaves audiences inspired to fight for our oceans - and our future.
At this EFFA screening students will explore these issues with a talk by guest speaker, Youth Ambassador for the Australian Himalayan Foundation, George Hillary.
George has a strong passion for the environment and wants to ensure that future generations are able to enjoy and explore everything it has to offer.
George has a lasting connection with Nepal, through his father, Peter Hillary, and grandfather, Sir Edmund Hillary. He has been fortunate enough to travel through the area on several occasions, during which he has been able to foster a more personal connection with the local communities, and the projects and goals of the AHF.
